A healthy mind needs a healthy body - Health and Hygiene Program 2012

Although CFI's prime area of work is in the field of education and children’s development, we try to see the bigger picture. A healthy mind needs a healthy body. Therefore, one of our core programs is about Health & Hygiene.

In slum areas, health is one of the burning issues, as families mostly don't have the money to cover medical expenses and are not aware about insurance policies and other support facilities. Therefore preventing  diseases by improving hygienic conditions in the communities continues to play an important role in our program.

Welcome to our blog!

This one is new! We are Children's Future India, a non-profit developmental organization headquartered in Pune, India. With our education sponsorship program, we are currently supporting more than 5000 children and their families. So there's a lot happening in our day to day work. We want to share our activities and success stories with you, that's why we have decided to take up our new blog.

If you've ever been wondering what's going on in India, follow us. Show your interest in social development, post your comments and suggestions and let's have dialogue about our work. Let people know about CFI to counteract the idea of a "Third World" in India. Watch us, we're working on it!
