A healthy mind needs a healthy body - Health and Hygiene Program 2012
Although CFI's prime area of work is in the field of education and children’s
development, we try to see the bigger picture. A healthy mind needs a healthy
body. Therefore, one of our core programs is about Health & Hygiene.
In slum areas, health is one of the burning issues, as families mostly don't have the money to cover medical expenses and are not aware about insurance policies and other support facilities. Therefore preventing diseases by improving hygienic conditions in the communities continues to play an important role in our program.
